Waterpark Breaks Near Poland You’ll Love

Sometimes all you need to reset is a weekend getaway some kind of escape where the kids are thrilled and you are chilling, and everyone ends the day with a huge smile. If you're living in Poland and don’t want to travel far by a plane or to spend a fortune for holidays, I have great news: some of Europe’s most exciting aquaparks are just a drive away. From mountain views with thermal pools to indoor tropics with palm trees.  Here are perfect choices waiting for you right across the border.

Aquapalace Prague, Czech Republic

Located just outside the Czech capital, Aquapalace Prague is a real aquatic universe — and one of the biggest water parks in Central Europe. It features three main zones: the Adventure Palace (where you’ll find fast-paced slides like the Space Bowl, a wild river, and wave pool), the Relaxation Palace (perfect for floating in saltwater pools or enjoying water massages), and the Sauna World — a real highlight, with themed saunas, cooling rooms, and aromatherapy.

What really stands out here is how it caters to all ages — kids have their own mini water play zones, while adults can go to the spa for a little peace and quiet. It’s also open year-round, which makes it a great winter option.

Our kids went wild for the toboggans, and we honestly just loved the spa. It’s clean, well-organized, and has something for every mood.

Aquapark Vyškov, Czech Republic

If you’re looking for something calmer and more affordable, Aquapark Vyškov is a hidden gem in South Moravia. It is a local favorite — smaller than the big parks, but super family-friendly and fits perfect for a chill day out. There's a lazy river, a few outdoor slides, warm pools, bubble zones, and a playful water mushroom area for toddlers.

During the summer, the outdoor section is lively but not overcrowded, and the vibe is laid-back — no long lines, no noise overload.

Perfect for younger kids. Clean, safe, and the staff was really helpful. Great spot for families who want to relax without spending too much.

Want to stay here for longer?  Then try Hotel Selský Dvůr Vyškov — it has a cozy, countryside feel and offers spacious rooms just a few minutes from the park.

Tatralandia, Slovakia

Tucked away in Slovakia’s Liptov region, Tatralandia is a true favorite among Polish families, especially those from the south. With a scenic mountain backdrop and 14 indoor and outdoor pools (many of them with thermal water), 26 slides, and themed zones like the Pirates of the Caribbean Island, it will be impossible for you to get bored here.

It is opened all year round, so in summer, you can enjoy open-air pools and sunshine, when in winter, laying in soothing thermal water and warm indoor zones — plus you can combine it with a ski trip to Jasná just nearby.

Holiday Village Tatralandia is a set of little wooden bungalows right on the park’s grounds. You wake up and walk straight into the water world.

Tropical Islands , Germany

Ready for something really impressing? Tropical Islands, located in a former airship hangar about 60 km south of Berlin, is a surreal experience. The indoor section has a beach with real sand, palm trees, a rainforest, lagoons, waterfalls, and even a hot air balloon (yes, indoors!). Kids love the giant play zones, while adults chill under fake-but-convincing blue skies.

The Amazonia outdoor area adds to the magic with heated pools and wild rivers. It is perfect for a winter escape when you want to swim outdoors in warm water while it’s snowing.

If you want to spent here your whole holidays, you can book an accommodation right here. From indoor tents, tropical-style lodges to comfy hotel rooms inside the dome.
